United Kingdom-Southampton: Lathes, boring and milling machine tools
ITT for a tender for 2 Milling Machines.
The University intends to purchase 2 CNC Milling machines with ancillary equipment to enhance the University of Southampton's manufacturing capability for a large number of high impact multidisciplinary projects spanning all of the major research areas of the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment. This tender invites you to submit your response for a solution which is able to meet the requirements as set out in the Invitation to Tender document.
1. Lot A: Large CNC Milling Machine complete with 4th Axis Servo Rotary Table.
2. Lot B: Medium Sized CNC Milling Machine.
In evaluating the tender, the University will seek the most economically advantageous offers in terms of the criteria listed below:
For both lots (additional sub criteria are published in the tender documents).
— Price — 25 %,
— Technical suitability and evaluation — 50 %,
— Service level support — 15 %,
— Maintenance — 10 %.
Expressions of Interest must be by way of completion and return of the tender document via the University's e-Tendering system Intend by the date/time specified in IV.3.4).
Under no circumstances whatsoever will the University of Southampton be liable for or pay any expenses or costs which may be incurred (whether directly or indirectly) by the tenderer in the preparation or submission of their tender proposal.
