The Department of Industrial Engineering – DII of the University of Padua (UNIPD) needs to acquire a dispersive wavelength X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (WD-XRF), with the aim of being able to carry out high-resolution qualitative and quantitative elementary analyses on solid and liquid matrices, with particular reference to inorganic materials, dust, pellets, molten and liquid samples, ensuring high sensitivity, repeatability and accuracy also for trace elements from oxygen to uranium.
