The subject of the Framework Agreement is to regulate the procedure for concluding partial purchase contracts (hereinafter referred to as ‘Purchase Agreements’ or individually as ‘Purchase Agreement’) (i) for the production and supply of up to 13 pieces of dual-source electrical units powered from fixed traction equipment of the 25kV AC system with traction battery, fully eligible for operation on 1 435 mm railway lines in the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as ‘Units’ or separately as ‘Units’), including all permits, approvals, consents and registrations (‘registration’ in the text of this tender documentation means all registrations having a similar character as permits, approvals or consents), which are necessary under the legislation in force on the date of handing over the relevant Unit to the contracting authority for the operation and use of the supplied Units and which will enable the contracting authority to operate and use the Units in the territory of the Czech Republic properly and without restrictions, as well as technical documentation belonging to the relevant Units within the scope laid down in the Framework Agreement; and/or (ii) the supply of spare parts and components of the exchange system (‘replacement parts of the exchange system’); and/or (iii) a contract for the repair and maintenance of the delivered Units in the form of a Full-Service (‘Full-Service Contract’).
