Description

The works to remove speed restrictions to restore the technical parameters of the track superstructure – SRCF BRAȘOV is part of the General Transport Master Plan of Romania (MPGT) and is proposed for funding from the Railway Component financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, according to Table 25. The cost of Quick-Wins projects under the NRRPs will be financed in accordance with Government Emergency Order No 124/2021, State Budget Law No 368/2022 and Government Decision No 209/2022, respectively, and included in the budget under budget titles code 60 ‘Projects financed from the amounts representing non-repayable financial assistance relating to the NRRPs’ and code 61 ‘Projects financed from the amounts relating to the loan component of the NRRPs on the basis of agreements/contracts/decisions/financing orders concluded in accordance with the law. Through the execution of the planned works, the volume of transport is forecasted to increase, with trends in the socio-economic development of the areas, having a significant impact. The impact and contribution of the work also leads to economic growth at regional and national level, making rail freight and passenger transport attractive. The sections on which works will be carried out to eliminate speed restrictions and restore the technical parameters of the track superstructure are: A) On line 203 Podu Olt - Copșa Mică Fir II and single line (2 sections/lots) between km 386+011 - km 406+950; Lot 1 Ocna Sibiului – Loamneș, between km 405+115 – 405-449 and between km 405+450 – 406+950, L=1,834 km Lot 2 Tălmaciu – Sibiu thread II, between km 386+011 – 387+262 and between km 388+436 – 390+685, L=3,500 km B) On line 300 Bucharest - Ploiești - Brasov - Cluj - Episcopia Bihorului thread I + II (19 sections/ lots) between km 399+900 – km 435+600; Lot 20 Razboieni – Călărași Turda thread I+II, between 433+200 – 434+000, L = 1,600 km. Lot 21 Razboieni – Călărași Turda thread I+II, between 434+000 – 435+600, L = 3,200 km. The works will be executed in accordance with the pre-measurements made available by SRCF Brasov in the technological order of execution, in strict compliance with the program for the quality control of the works. The actual execution of the works will start on the basis of the order to start the works, sent to the contractor by the Brașov SRCF. The detailed description of the works can be found in tender specifications No 710/1/216/26 July 2022.
