Description

The new building for institutes of physics with a usable area (NUF 1-6) of approx. 4800 m ² will be built on Hans-Sommer-Straße. In the four-storey building, half of the area is reserved for laboratories, measuring and weighing rooms, which are located in the northern part of the building. Other usable areas include office space as well as seminar rooms and lecture halls. A foyer, which connects the storeys via an airspace, serves as the main access point. On the ground floor, student workstations extend the foyer and allow access to the green courtyard. The technical centre extends as a fifth floor over half of the building area.
