Description

The JRC Seville is in the process of constructing a new flagship building for the New European Bauhaus initiative. This building will feature a unique design that integrates energy efficiency, abundant natural light, and optimal ventilation. The aim is to design the interior design of the building, with a specific focus on offices, collaborative spaces, co-working areas, dining, social spaces, and meeting rooms. Focused on developing the building’s interior design, the following key steps are planned to define and implement the interior concept. Importantly, the interior design project must be fully integrated into the detailed design of the building, under construction, to ensure cohesion between architecture and interior elements: Definition of the workplace concept and strategy: Establish an interior design concept that reflects our values, brand identity, and the building’s distinctive characteristics. Workshop/Event: Organize workshops to engage stakeholders, gather feedback, and refine the design concept. Visual identity creation: Develop a visual identity for the building, including signage, wayfinding systems, and branding elements. Sustainability and accessibility: Ensure the design meets the highest standards of sustainability, accessibility, and overall user experience. Training and workshops: Provide staff with training sessions and workshops to familiarize them with the new workspace, its features, and how to optimize its use.
