Description

The Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture (LWK), a public corporation, is the self-governing organisation of agriculture in Lower Saxony. The LWK intends to plan and build a new building for the dairy education centre for its LUFA North-West division at the Oldenburg site. The dairy education centre (consisting of a teaching dairy and a teaching laboratory) provides inter-company training for the training occupations of dairy technologist and dairy laboratory technician. Funding from the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) and the State of Lower Saxony is therefore to be applied for for the project. The spatial plan approved by BIBB and the Land envisages approx. 1,600 m2 NF for the teaching dairy (minor dairy with different production processes – most of the existing facilities are to be taken over) and approx. 700 m2 NF for the teaching laboratory. The cost of the project (KG 300+400) is currently estimated at approximately EUR 12.8 million net on the basis of a rough feasibility study.
