Description

The scope of the contract is as follows: Remote mulching for the purpose of maintaining the heath habitat types, in which the existing heath plants are placed on the stick, existing broom and birch and pine succession are mulched close to the surface up to a BHD of 15 cm. Due to ordnance pollution, interventions in the topsoil should be avoided. Tree islands as well as solitary trees above a chest height diameter of 15 cm are to be left. The mulch can remain on the surface. The scope of the power is divided into two sub-areas with the following maximum dimensions: 1. Area: 18.6 ha and 2. Area: 20.1 ha. The area to be processed is loaded with weapons. The action areas are invariably located on areas that are classified in category 4 in accordance with the ‘construction guidelines for the clearance of ordnance’. Category 4 is defined as ‘The determined combat centre load represents a hazard that requires disposal’. An area-specific hazard potential analysis cannot be provided by the contracting authority. For this reason, only remote-controlled and / or autonomous working procedures are to be used. Due to the military use, scrap and other metal residues can be expected on the surface. Furthermore, structural remains as well as anthropogenic depressions, such as trenches and shafts, cannot be ruled out. With the offer, the company must name/submit the procedure used, the intended use of technology as well as an accident plan. Within the scope of the accident plan, among other things, the requirement under Section 20 of the Explosives Act must be met. The use of machines in category 4 areas is at your own risk. The client (AG) assumes no liability for possible damage to the machines used. The contract covers the following services: Mulching of path edges as well as older paths (primarily broom, pine and birch succession up to 15 cm) to ensure a basic navigability again.
