Description

Framework contract for the maintenance of gas boilers of the Ostend Haard heritage. This contract divided into lots comprising:
— lot A: the Westerquartier in Ostend,
— lot B: the Vuurtorenwijk in Ostend,
— lot C: Stene in Ostend,
— lot D: Bredene,
— lot E: Hazagras in Ostend,
— lot F: Saint Jan, Ostend.
The Ostend Haard is a social housing society and has a patrimonium of almost 1 500 dwellings and apartments located on the territory of Bredene and Ostend.
The purpose of this general invitation to tender is to appoint 1 or more contractors to maintain the boilers for the various lots.
The contractor undertakes to start all partial assignments requested by the Board within 14 working days of receipt of the above mentioned notice and to execute it within the period of performance specified in the notice, unless a different time limit is agreed upon by mutual agreement.
If a contract requires more work than indicated in the notice of the partial contract, the contractor shall inform the contracting authority as soon as possible and in any event before commencing the additional work.
The number of partial assignments to be awarded under this negotiated procedure during its initial duration of the contract is indefinite. No minimum number of contracts is guaranteed, so that the number of partial contracts that will actually be awarded under this invitation to tender cannot justify any compensation.
The contractor shall contact the customer or user in relation to the accessibility of the building where the works are to be carried out. The contractor shall inform the Board of the agreements made.
