Ongoing repair and maintenance of the coastal fortifications on the right bank after the leak of Kozloduy HPP
The subject-matter of the contract is the ongoing repair and maintenance of the coastal fortifications on the right bank of the Danube River after the end of the Kozloduy HPP – Article 151(1)(2) in conjunction with Article 64(1)(7) of the Spatial Development Act. The volume of the contract includes all types of activities necessary for the implementation of a gabion retaining wall. A project has been developed containing the following parts: Geodetic part; Hydrotechnical part; Quantitative account. The project envisages the construction of a gabion retaining wall after the hydropower plant's wing wall. The wall is horizontal with a length of 47.17 m, together with the anchoring part. The total height of the wall is 6.30 m. The bottom of the wall is at an elevation of 21.30 m and the ridge at an elevation of 27.60 m. A gabion with a height of 1.00 m and a width of 2.00 m is buried in the base above it, a factory mattress with a thickness of 30 cm is placed. This mattress covers the bright part of the coast and reaches below the lowest level of the river. Factory gabions with a total height of 5.00 m are installed above the mattress. Temporary roads and temporary ramps for descent into the riverbed are provided for access. The project does not change the route and technical characteristics of the currently existing coastal fortifications.
