Description

The object of the award is an EU award of a total of 77 different products - arranged in three lots - as rail vehicle spare parts for multiple vehicle series of Deutsche Bahn AG. The supplies and services to be provided by the Contractor are described in the other procurement documents. For legal reasons, no drawings can be made available for the items included in the invitation to tender. A unique identification of the parts is made by the manufacturer's item number. The supplies and services to be provided by the Contractor are described in the other procurement documents. A price-sliding formula (PGF) will apply to the framework contract(s) resulting from this invitation to tender. The price indices are calculated as the average of the months March, April, June of the current year with the average of the months October, November, December of the previous year. The price update is based on the mean values entered in the above formula. The result is the factor by which prices are updated. As procurement prices are expected to be volatile in the near future, this tender will introduce a price-sliding formula (PGF) on an annual basis with a base percentage of +/- 2.0% (inclusive). In case of fluctuations within the base percentage, the prices remain the same. If the procurement prices are determined by more than +/- 2.0%, the price-sliding formula applies to each item in the position resulting from this outcry in a framework contract. As a common database, the database of DeStatis (Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden) is considered agreed. The indexes can be selected via the Internet address https://www-genesis.destatis.de/database/online. The price review shall take place once a year on 1 July of each year of the duration of the framework contract or contracts. The price review must be requested by the contractor and confirmed in writing by the client (Holschuld).
