Belgium-Brussels: Damage or loss insurance services
The subject of the contract is the subscription of 2 insurance policies, for a period of 1 year for Infrabel:
— Liability insurance undertaking for the period from 1.4.2014 to 31.3.2015: Coverage of Infrabel’s corporate responsibilities. The cover is ‘All risks except...’. It will cover Infrabel’s contractual and non-contractual liability vis-à-vis third parties arising from its staff, installations, movable and immovable property and the performance of its main and ancillary activities. The insured capital will amount to EUR 125 000 000 per claim. The insured capital will be divided into several lots. The distribution and description of the lots, as well as the annual limit on the capital insured, will be mentioned in the tender specifications.
— Damage to property insurance for the period from 16.4.2014 to 15.4.2015: Covering damage to Infrabel’s assets. The cover is ‘All risks except...’. It will cover buildings and their contents, railway infrastructure and certain additional operating losses and costs.
The insured capital will amount to EUR 125 000 000 per claim (increased to EUR 175 000 000 for a limited number of buildings and/or railway infrastructure). Where applicable, the insured capital will be divided into different lots. The distribution and description of the lots, as well as the annual limit on the capital insured, will be mentioned in the tender specifications.
