Lot 1: Project manager (MOE) Alpine access project New line of the APD phase The Lyon-Turin new railway line project is intended to contribute to the modal shift from road to rail of freight traffic crossing the Franco-Italian Alps. The scenario envisages the realisation of: • A mixed freight and passenger service between Lyon and Saint-André-le-Gaz. Beyond Saint-André-le-Gaz, passenger traffic uses the existing network; • As an extension of the mixed line, a dedicated freight line to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, where it will connect to the base tunnel.
