The procedure for awarding the framework agreement for ‘County road repair and maintenance works and services under the administration of Gorj County Council’ consists in awarding (concluding) a framework agreement with a single economic operator and lasting 4 years from the date of its entry into force, establishing: the terms, conditions and legal, financial, technical, organisational and administrative framework for the award of subsequent contracts, the essential elements of which are determined by it, namely: a minimum of 4 follow-up contracts and a maximum of 16 follow-up contracts. Purpose: ensuring the execution of works and services for the repair and maintenance of county roads under the administration of the Gorj County Council, in conditions of efficiency and financial efficiency, according to the needs of the contracting authority and within the limit of the budget allocated for this purpose. Frequency of award of subsequent contracts: for the duration of the four-year framework agreement, a minimum of four follow-up contracts (at least one for each year) and a maximum of 16 follow-up contracts (usually quarterly over the four years) will be awarded. Estimates of the minimum and maximum quantities that could be requested throughout the framework agreement, as well as the minimum and maximum quantities that could be the subject of a single subsequent contract, are set out in Annex 14 to the tender specifications.
