Romania-Buzău: Meal-cooking services

Pursuant to Order No 886/2006 of the Ministry of Health – on the outsourcing of medical and non-medical services from the health units, Buzau County Council (where the Buzau JU is the administration) issued Decision No 223/29 November 2011, under which the activity of preparing food for the sick was outsourced.
The service will consist of preparing food for international patients with various effects in the specialised sections and departments of the Buzau SJU in accordance with the diets recommended by the Institute’s Food Commission.
The training of mankind shall be carried out by category of patient in accordance with Government Decision No 429/2008 on the level of food allowances for collective consumption in public health units, as amended by Decision No 665/14.9.2016.
Within the positions of Government Decision No 429/2008, the menus will be differentiated by category of diet according to the therapeutic indications of the currant physician due to the various restrictions and interventions, in particular, inventions against patients.
For the preparation of manchards, the economic operator must establish the processing capacity to ensure manchery (3 (three) meals/day) and veterinary authorisation for the purpose of charcoal preparation and the specialist staff involved in charcoal training.
The training of mankind shall be carried out at the service provider’s objective under direct supervision and guidance of dietary assistants from the contracting authority.
The supplier shall also distribute the labour at all offices belonging to SJU Buzau, using means of transport authorised for sanitary veterinary purposes in vessels specifically designed for the transport of mankind in conditions of maximum sanitary and sanitary safety.
— Number of days until which clarifications may be requested before the closing date for submission of tenders/applications – 20 days;
— The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information on the 10th day compared to the deadline for submission of tenders.
