The City of Vaasa is planning to acquire the following functions - outdoor lighting network - traffic lights - electricity supply in public areas - telecommunications construction - IOT in public areas - intelligent transport solutions for the planning, maintenance, construction and development tasks for the contract period starting at the beginning of 2026. Similar work has been included in the Electricity Alliance in 2023-2025. The alliance model is also an option for the new contract period, but the City of Vaasa wants to discuss other alternative procurement implementation models with market operators.
