Description

The district of Dachau is responsible for a total of nine schools (five grammar schools, two secondary schools, a vocational school centre, a special educational support centre). Of the five grammar schools, two are about to be completed. These two newly emerging grammar schools in the municipalities of Karlsfeld and Röhrmoos will start school operations in the school year 2025/26. For this purpose, the necessary loose equipment for certain school and teaching areas is to be procured in time for the beginning of the school year on 01.08.2025. Since these schools were founded completely new, they are still under construction in the next few years in terms of school organisation. For the time being, the school year 2025/26 will only start with grades 5 to 8 inclusive. With each further school year, a grade will be added until the schools will be fully established in the school year 2030/31 with grades 5 to 13 inclusive (nine-year Bavarian grammar school = G9). In the long term, the Gymnasium Karlsfeld will train 5 courses per year and thus about 1,350 students.
