Description

The subject-matter of the contract is the operation of winter maintenance of district roads and pavements in the following areas: The towns and municipalities of Wieliczka and the winter maintenance of district roads in the municipalities: Klaj, Gddy, Biskupice, in the 2013/2014 winter season.
The scope of the contract covers 196.557 km of district roads and 36 642.00 m² of pavements, including: part I – City and Municipality of Wieliczka – 87.685 km of roads and 36 642 m² of pavements, part II – Municipality of Kłaj – 31.784 km of roads, part III – municipality of Gdy 55.600 km of roads, part IV – Biskupice Municipality 21.488 km of roads.
A significant proportion of district roads in municipalities: Wieliczka, Klaj and Biskupice are located in a hilly area.
A detailed list of roads and the order in which they are snowed is included in the annex: D1 to the SIWZ – List of district roads, the Detailed list of pavements in the Wieliczka municipality and the order in which they are snowed is included in Annex:D2 – List of pavements on the territory of the City and Municipality of Wieliczka.
The snowing of other walkways not included in the list does not constitute a task of the contractor.
The contracting authority reserves the right to change the snow sequence of district roads and pavements during the performance of the contract.
The road must be snow along the whole width of the carriageway and the shoulders and sprinkled over the whole width of the carriageway. Continuous road passage must be maintained.
