United Kingdom-Warrington: Mainframe computer
The Contracting Authority currently receives the benefit of a managed hosting infrastructure service pursuant to an allocation of business known as the Standard Services Business Allocation (SSBA) under the ACCORD contract which was awarded under the competitive form of the negotiated procedure following an advertised OJEU contract notice (96/S151-90299/EN). These services are due to expire in February 2015. For technical reasons set out in Annex D1 to this notice, the Contracting Authority is obliged to extend the existing contract without prior publication of a contract notice. This is necessary to ensure continuation of the business critical hosting infrastructure service for a period of up to 3 years whilst the Contracting Authority transitions and exits within this time-scale.
