Description

The contract concerns the Kalmar Läntrafiks administration at Kalmar County Council’s need for on-board computers and WiFi equipment for assembly in buses and partly in trains. Kalmar Läntrafik has carried out a transport procurement procedure starting in August 2017. Computers and equipment shall be acquired for this traffic start. The Kronoberg Region participates in an option as further specified in the call for applications and the tender specifications that will be sent to the candidate suppliers invited to tender.
A contract is intended to be concluded with one or 2 suppliers where the tender is divided at (1) Preliminary approximately 350 Barge Vehicle Computers to Kalmar Läntrafik using software as an option and (2) Wi-Fi router with 3/4G modem and storage. To a lesser extent, this may also be present on trains. The estimated size is approximately 400 pieces for buses and about 40 pieces for trains to be delivered to Kalmar Läntrafik at Kalmar County Council. The Kronoberg Region participates in options and additional volumes may be added within the respective compartment.
