Urological Morsellator System, North Ostrobothnia Welfare Area Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
Note: Not all information for this procedure were successfully computed. Please consult linked documents for more details.
The object of the procurement is a morphellator system, for laser enucleation treatments of the prostate for the use of OYS Urology. Laser enucleation is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is suitable for the treatment of large and medium-sized prostate glands. The procedure is performed in the operating room under spinal anaesthesia or general anaesthesia. A laser fiber is inserted into the urethra through a cystoscope to remove the prostate adenoma from the prostate capsule. Removed adenoma is punctured in the bladder. Through the same cystoscope (without intermittent removal of the cystoscope), the detached adenoma is broken down into small pieces with the help of a morsellator, and the pieces are sucked with the suction of a morsellator. At the end of the procedure, a rinsing catheter is inserted to empty the bladder, rinse the post-bleed and allow the surgical area to heal. The purchase does not include laser equipment used in treatment. The second instrumentation will be procured by a separate decision of the client, within two years of the procurement decision, if the number of patients rises to a high level. Equipment-specific accessories will also be purchased. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
