Research 'Inventory of the use of devices and/or wearables for cardiovascular patients in telemonitoring
We would like to invite you to submit a quotation for carrying out a study on 'Inventory of the use of devices and/or wearables for cardiovascular patients in telemonitoring'. In recent years, there have been many developments in digital healthcare. The possibilities to remotely monitor the health of patients at home are increasing. Telemonitoring has the potential to offer a solution to the challenges in healthcare that will come to us in the coming years: on the one hand, an ageing population and an increasing number of people with cardiovascular diseases and, on the other hand, staff shortages and rising healthcare costs. Telemonitoring is done within the framework of a pre-coordinated goal and policy. Patients carry out their own measurements with medical equipment and share the data with healthcare professionals via digital technology. A healthcare professional interprets the data to assess the patient's health situation and, if necessary, initiate or adjust treatment. The main question of this research is to map which medical devices and/or wearables are used for telemonitoring in patients in Dutch cardiovascular care by medical specialists, and in which indication they are used. For more information, please refer to the quotation request.
