Description

The project “General renovation of Stuttgart-Ulm (VzG line 4700)” is part of the programme “General renovation of high-performance network”. The programme “General renovation of high-performance network” aims at general renovation of line sections up to and including 2030 in order to achieve higher reliability and performance or an increase in the robustness of the infrastructure, as well as a better customer experience and better predictability for customers. The high-performance corridor is to be upgraded during a total closure of 5 months in the second half of 2029 in a general renovation (currently planned construction period: 06.07.2029 to 07.12.2029). Refurbishment comprises a series of measures for the renewal, partial renewal or repair of various installations or parts of installations. As part of the basic determination, the line 4700 track geometry is to be recorded. For this purpose, PS4 points and track marking targets are to be set in accordance with the directive. Subsequently, the route is to be recorded with the help of a measuring train. In addition, turnout sketches are to be drawn up for the turnouts to be renewed and newly built.
