Description

The public procurement procedure is the ‘Study on urban transport planning in the city of Plovdiv’ under the project ‘Modernisation and development of sustainable urban transport in the city of Plovdiv’, grant agreement No BG161PO001/1.5 – 03/2011/001, implemented by the Municipality of Plovdiv in its capacity as beneficiary of the Operational Programme ‘Regional Development’ 2013-2007.
The overall objective of the implementation of this study on urban transport planning is to establish project readiness in the municipality of Plovdiv for investments to be financed in the new programming period. These investments will build on the results that will be achieved by the implementation of the project “Modernisation and Development of Sustainable Urban Transport in the City of Plovdiv”, as well as the development of an efficient public transport network and sustainable mobility.
The specific objectives are to build on the components of the project “Modernisation and Development of Sustainable Urban Transport in the City of Plovdiv”, especially in relation to the possibilities that the urban transport management system and the traffic management and control system will provide, with the aim of maximising the benefits of implementing these project interventions.
