Description

The City of Jyväskylä calls for offers of sanding material on site for the winter season 2023-2024. The materials to be procured are sanding ballast 3-8 and sanding sand sand. The procurement consists of – the supply of sanding ballast to delivery sites throughout the city. The places of delivery and the estimated quantities are set out in Annex 2. Delivery points have been merged into regional units (sections 1 to 11 of the invitation to tender) within which the price is the same. Tenders may be submitted for more than one regional group. The location of delivery points may change within the region, including the number of delivery points in the region (new delivery points or delivery points are decommissioned) – the delivery of sanded silk sandwich to the three delivery points (sections 12-14 of the invitation to tender). The places of delivery and the estimated quantities are set out in Annex 2. Tenders may be submitted for more than one site. The grinding ballast shall meet the specifications set out in Annex 3 and the InfraRYL. The product must be suitable for sanding purposes, e.g. in terms of grain size, water retention (prevention of freezing) and spreadability. The contractor may verify the suitability of the material for sanding purposes before the actual supply begins and during the contract period. Sandwich shall meet the specifications of Annex 4 and InfraRYL. The product must be suitable for sanding purposes, e.g. in terms of grain size, water retention (prevention of freezing) and spreadability.
