Description

Commercial operation of various facilities for the decontamination and conditioning of radioactive residues in our Main Department of Decontamination Facilities (HDB) of the Karlsruhe reprocessing plant (WAK).
WAK has sites/installations for conditioning radioactive substances in the HDB organisational unit. Depending on the workplace, this conditioning includes a wide range such as decontamination, dismantling, measuring radioactive residues until final containers are constructed. The operation of these facilities, such as a high-pressure press, various caissons and workstations, is the subject of this invitation to tender. According to our experience in single-layer operation, approximately 40 people with a wide range of qualifications are needed. These are decontact specialists, radiation protection workers, radiation protection specialists (IHK), deconductors, drivers, radiation protection workers, skilled workers and relevant management staff (shift guides).
