Description

The Opera Bastille, designed by architect Carlos Ott, was delivered in 1989. It is located south of Place de la Bastille in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, between the streets of Lyon and Charenton. With a useful surface area of approximately 105,000 m2, the building has been labeled "Remarkable Contemporary Architecture" since 2016. It houses a main auditorium with 2,745 seats, a 500-seat amphitheater, a 230-seat studio, manufacturing workshops, rehearsal rooms and administrative premises. Due to the normal aging of the building, the obsolescence of its facilities and despite an active maintenance policy, major repair investments are now necessary to preserve this building and adapt it to current and future constraints. The purpose of the operation is to: - The renovation (technical and environmental upgrade) and thermal improvement of all the sealed roofs-terraces of the Opera Bastille with a roof surface of approximately 15,000 m2 and all the roofs of the establishment, with a safety of all the roofs and accessibility for the maintainer of the site. This renovation includes the roof of the Studio and the shed roof. - The renovation of the glass roof of the Opera painting studio located on the 5th level and extending into the upper levels (mezzanines and corridors), of the east facade of the building. This AAPC concerns TCE works carried out by a general contractor. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
