Description

The contract is a combined cloudburst and urban space project located at Strandboulevarden in Østerbro on the section between Løgstørgade and Nordre Frihavnsgade. The project could delay 2,000 m3 of cloudburst water – the majority in surface basins in the green area, the remaining part in underground magazines (cassettes) under the road. The water is led through drainage shafts on the surface from magazines and basins to the cloudburst tunnel under Strandboulevarden and from there into the harbour. In addition to the cloudburst project, the project consists of the restoration of sidewalks and signalling systems as well as the establishment of a new cycle path in the west side of Strandboulevarden.
