GT-A ist ein Komplex aus 4 aneinander gebauten Gebäuden aus verschiedenen Bauzeiten sowie ein Verbindungsgang zu GT-B. Dieser eingeschossige Gang wird abgebrochen und durch einen zweigeschossigen Verbindungsgang ersetzt.Im GT-A finden umfangreichen Abbruch- und Umbaumaßnahmen statt.
