Description

Sinds 2016 is op verzoek van en ondersteund door VWS door Mind (Landelijk Platform Psychische Gezondheid), invulling gegeven aan meerdere ondersteuningsprojecten gericht op het tot ontwikkeling brengen van laagdrempelige steunpunten in Nederland (zie later in deze paragraaf uitleg over wat laagdrempelige steunpunten zijn). Deze zijn samengebracht onder de naam ‘Regie in de Regio’. Dit betrof onder meer het project ‘Eigen regie in een kansrijke context’. Dit programma moet bijdragen aan de realisatie van een landelijk dekkend netwerk van laagdrempelige steunpunten. Dit ondersteuningsprogramma moet – indirect - effect hebben op de kwaliteit van leven van mensen met een psychische kwetsbaarheid of aandoening. Door het vergroten van het aantal en de kwaliteit van laagdrempelige steunpunten in hun lokale en regionale context kunnen mensen met een psychische kwetsbaarheid of aandoening zo lang mogelijk eigen regie voeren over hun leven en als dit nodig is de juiste zorg op de juiste plek vinden en krijgen.
