D-Bremen: architectural design services
At its meeting on 13 July 2012, the Deputation for Education decided to expand the pre-existing stock of rooms to be used as a full-time school as required.
The full-day school will be operational with the first classes after the summer holidays in 2012. In order to provide spatial support for the launch of the full-day school, internal renovations were carried out as a first step towards the beginning of the school year in 2012/13. The growing room requirements of the full-day school will be covered by containers. This interim solution is to be replaced by a fixed construction as soon as possible.
A feasibility study has been prepared in advance and will be made available to the participants in the contest.
As part of the development planning for the full-day school, capacity expansion with the aim of four-day school will also be examined.
The building project is based on a space programme with a programme area of approximately 770 m² for the 3-speed and a total of approx. 1 400 m² (objective four-speed). This includes the necessary traffic and functional areas.
A total of approximately EUR 2 600 000 plus VAT in the cost groups 300 to 400 are available for the construction works.
These are essentially classrooms, differentiation rooms, specialist rooms, teacher work rooms, multi-purpose rooms/mensa, kitchens and toilet rooms.
In accordance with the energy requirements for new construction and renovation of buildings in the Land and the City of Bremen, the new building must be constructed in accordance with the passive house standard.
The construction project is expected to be completed by the end of July 2015 at the latest.
The estimated construction costs (KG 300 and 400) are approximately EUR 2 600 000 net.
