Description

With effect from 1 January 2013, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg established the Landesbetrieb SBH | Schulbau Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH) in accordance with Section 26(1) of the Land Budget Regulations. The task of this Land establishment is to plan, construct, maintain and manage school premises in accordance with economic principles, taking account of school concerns, and to rent more than 350 schools to the Agency for Schools and Vocational Training (BSB). School real estate includes all land and buildings used for educational purposes in the state and vocational schools. The land area is 9.1 million m² and the main usable area is approximately 3.1 million m².
