Spectrophotometer
A spectrophotometer is a device that measures the absorption of electromagnetic radiation from substances at different wavelengths. The absorption of a substance at certain wavelengths depends on the chemical composition of the substance. The spectrophotometer is used to determine the wavelengths absorbed by the sample, i.e. colours in the case of visible light, for example. The spectrophotometer is used to determine the reflective properties of fabrics and clothing accessories (e.g. buttons, pull-chains, buckles) in different wavelength ranges and tones of colour (L*a*b*). The main components of the spectrophotometer are the radiation source, sample mode, monochromator and detector. The acquisition includes a UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer, an accessory for measuring small objects, a UPS device, a computer and software. In addition, the purchase includes maintenance and calibration of the device over a period of four (4) years, as well as operational training. Technical requirements for the equipment, delivery requirements and maintenance requirements in accordance with the technical specification 602-a\28.5.2023 of Annex 2 and the camouflage requirements of Annex 3.
