Description

The Swiss Confederation owns a property complex in Milan (Italy), known as the ‘Swiss Milan Centre’ (SMC). This complex comprises the buildings located at numbers 2 and 4 of Via Palestro and at numbers 1 and 3 of Via del Vecchio Politecnico. The set consists of two separate volumes: an upper element (the tower), comprising 21 floors, and a lower element (the lower body), distributed over five levels above ground. Currently, 17 independent tenants occupy the premises of these two buildings. The CSM is recognised as a permanent establishment of the Swiss Confederation carrying out a commercial activity related to the management of the real estate complex. As such, its operation is ensured by directly engaged personnel, in charge of maintenance and technical control tasks, concierge services, security guards and general security control. The activities carried out within the MSC are described as "commercial". The continued operation of the MSA as a permanent establishment is a mandatory condition for the provision of future services. Consequently, the above-mentioned tasks will continue to be carried out internally by the staff of the MSC and are not part of this call for tenders. The purpose of this invitation to tender is to appoint a tenderer to provide the services of commercial, technical and operational management of the building complex.
