Rehabilitation of the railway line Brasov-Simeria, component of the Rhine-Danube Corridor, for traffic with a maximum speed of 160 km/h, Brasov-Sighisoara section, subsections :1. Brasov - Apata and 3.Cata- Sighisoara The main objective of the rehabilitation works is the circulation of passenger trains with a maximum speed of 160 km/h and freight trains with a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The Brasov - Sighisoara section is divided into 3 subsections, of which only subsections 1 and 3 are subject to this tender: Subsection 1. Cap X Brasov – Apata CapY (km 170+285,000 - km 208+088,954) Subsection 2. Apata CapY- Cap X Cata (km 208+088,954 - km 236+157,940) Subsection 3. Cap X Cata – Sighisoara Cap Y (km 236+157,940 - km 282+842) On the two subsections put up for auction, there are currently 11 sectioning points, all electrodynamically centralised (CED): 4 c.f. stations, 7 movement stops, 8 commercial stops and halts. There are two main railway nodes on the route and a double tunnel 660 m long. The project for the rehabilitation of the Brasov-Apata and Cata-Sighisoara subsections covers the following categories of works: earthworks C.F lines, reinforcements, superstructure, bridges and viaducts, bridges, tunnels, overpasses, roads, environmental protection, contact line, plant protection, power supply, telecommunications, fiber optics, passenger information system, signalling communications, video surveillance, architecture, resistance, electrical installations, sanitary installations, thermoventilation installations, bank defences, signalling, rail traffic. The technical project includes specifications, technical memos, drawings, lists of quantities and will be published in SEAP so that all possible bidders have access to the information needed to prepare the tender.
