Expansion and improvement of the existing 'Mitera' Nursery School in Agios Ioannis, Heraklion, Crete."
The project concerns the execution of the work "Improvement/Expansion of the existing MITERA Infant and Nursery School in Agios Ioannis," which aims to create a welfare facility providing comprehensive care services for 220 infants and young children, as well as 10 children with disabilities. The project will be awarded through an open electronic tender exceeding threshold limits and broadly includes: The addition of a new ground-floor building with a total area of 1,378.78m² The upgrading (structural, functional, and energy-related) of the existing building, with a total area of 804.27m² The construction of underground auxiliary spaces with a total area of 1,196.26m², including an additional 78.14m² for the existing building The construction of an underground parking facility in the new building extension, with a capacity of 17 vehicles, serving the needs of the nursery The development of outdoor surrounding areas covering 1,726.88m²
