Description

The objective of the contract is to diversify and shorten the agricultural and food supply chain and build the resilience of the actors involved in that chain. The main objective of the project is to create, collect and disseminate knowledge about modern agricultural technologies, such as automation, digitalisation and precision agriculture. The purchase of machines will enable our unit to carry out testing and demonstration activities that will help farmers to adapt innovative solutions. The purchase of machines will enable the equipment of didactic and demonstration facilities to better communicate knowledge about the benefits of agriculture 4.0. The purchase of a tractor, sprayer, spreader, hoe and navigation system will enable the implementation of modern technologies and analysis of their impact on the efficiency of the farm. A modern tractor combined with a GPS system allows for precise driving of machines, which will translate into saving fuel and plant protection products. The smart sprayer will adjust the dose of plant protection products based on application maps and sensors, which will increase the efficiency of crop protection and reduce costs. The control system integrated with the spreader will adjust the dose of fertilizers, allowing for precise fertilization, which will improve the quality of the soil and reduce the use of fertilizers. A mechanical, technology-assisted diaper can reduce the use of herbicides, which is part of a sustainable approach to agriculture. On the other hand, the GPS system will enable the collection of data on the operation of machines, which will allow for their optimization and better management of the farm. The inclusion of these technologies in testing activities allows the collection of data on their effectiveness, which can be used to disseminate the benefits of agriculture 4.0. The machines planned for purchase will work with the SatAgro system, which is fully compatible with them, which will allow control, analysis and management of experimental fields.
