Description

- The subject of this contract is the construction of a steel railway bridge, forming part of a new grade separation located south of Bettembourg station. This new grade separation is supposed to avoid crossing the Bettembourg-Dudelange line with freight trains coming from the west of the country and entering the Bettembourg marshalling yard. - The contract includes the construction of reinforced concrete abutments, the pre-assembly of the steel structure and the ripping of the structure onto the abutments. - Given that the works are located in the middle of the station and that the station must remain in service for rail traffic during the works, with the exception of a few rail dams which will be planned, compliance with deadlines and safety at work is a key factor in ensuring the successful completion of the works.
