Description

Die TZ-Maßnahme „Unterstützung der ländlichen Entwicklung in den Baumwollregionen (ABC-PADER)“ in Kamerun zielt darauf ab, die wirtschaftliche Leistungsfähigkeit der privaten Akteure in der Land- und Viehwirtschaft unter Berücksichtigung an den Klimawandel angepasster Produktionssysteme zu steigern. Das soll durch Maßnahmen in 3 Outputs erreicht werden. Die Maßnahmen in Output 1 „Rahmenbedingungen für eine nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung“ sind teilweise und in Output 2 „Kapazitäten privater Akteure entlang der land- und viehwirtschaftlichen WSK“ ganz zu vergeben. Dies beinhaltet zum einen die fachliche Beratung der Gemeinde- und Regionalverwaltungen, der traditionellen Autoritäten sowie Vertreter/innen der Dorfgemeinschaften und des Privatsektors zur Erstellung und Umsetzung von Landnutzungsplänen. Zum anderen sollen Produzenten/innen und Verarbeiter/innen in Land- und Viehwirtschaft sowie deren Verbände technisch, organisatorisch und im Betriebsmanagement fortgebildet werden. Dabei fällt der Zusammenarbeit mit dem halbstaatlichen Baumwollunternehmen SODECOTON eine Schlüsselrolle zu.
