Description

Building and indoor planning in accordance with HOAI §34 for the construction measure ‘Total renovation of small Castle Park Babelsberg, Potsdam’.
The small castle on the northern edge of the Babelsberg Park on the bank of the deep lake consists of a two-storey main building with pavillon-like, excessive wing structures, and a single-shot side building built in the slope, which forms a farm situation with the small lock. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and two housing units on the upper floor. The auxiliary building is used as a storage room. The buildings will be rehabilitated cautiously, while preserving their use (housing, catering).
The ensemble is a monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This will be implemented with funds from the Special Investment Programme 2 of the Federal Culture Budget and the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg.
