The total estimated value of the public procurement is BGN 64 560.00 (sixty-four thousand five hundred and sixty leva) excluding VAT, divided into lots as follows: Lot No 1 – ‘12 – channel electrocardiograph – 2 pieces’ – BGN 9 700.00 excluding VAT; Lot No 2 ‘Portable digital electrocardiograph – 18 pieces’ – BGN 49 860.00 excluding VAT; Lot No 3 – Fully automatic haemostasis analyser – used – BGN 5 000.00 excluding VAT. Under Article 21(6) of the Public Procurement Act, the contracting authority is entitled to award lots in accordance with the procedure valid for the individual estimated value of each of them, provided that the value of the respective lot does not exceed BGN 156 464.00 for supplies and services and the total estimated value of the lots awarded in this way does not exceed 20 per cent of the total estimated value of the contract. In such cases, irrespective of the residual value of the contract, it shall be awarded in accordance with the procedure applicable to the total estimated value of the entire contract. Taking into account the above, the estimated value of: Lot 3 accounts for 7.74% of the total estimated value; As the estimated value of OP No 3 is less than BGN 50 000 excluding VAT, it falls within the scope of Article 20(4)(3) of the Public Procurement Act. The Contractor shall ensure fulfilment of his obligations under this Contract by means of a performance guarantee amounting to 2 % (two per cent) of the total value of the Contract, exclusive of VAT.
