CH-Olten: engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works
The Olten-Wöschnau railway section of line 650 is today a two or three lane section on the main line Berne-Olten-Zurich. It thus represents a bottleneck in the development of this line, which must provide a continuous four-track link. This project is given considerable importance with the aim of including it in the first implementation package of the Federal Transport Office’s major strategic project “Future development of railway infrastructure (ZEB)”.
In the meantime, a preliminary draft has been drawn up for the development of the section. This consists of 10 sub-projects, of which the Eppenberg tunnel – sub-project 1 (TP1) – is the centrepiece. In addition, there are two related projects (PP11 and TP12) which are not building blocks of the projects.
Lot A is contained in this invitation to tender, which includes sub-projects 1-3 and 8 (see breakdown of lot in chapter 3.5 of the tender description) for the interim phases SIA 32 (construction project) to 53 (commissioning, order). Detailed description of the project, see description of tasks under point 3. Lot B has already been the subject of a prior call for tenders.
