Description

This is an extension within the existing campus of the German School in Prague – Deutsche Schule Prag (DSP). The extension will serve to expand the capacity of the kindergarten and primary school and will be operationally connected to the existing building. The proposed building is situated within the existing premises and uses its connection to the transport and technical infrastructure, which is also sufficient for the extended capacity of the premises. Therefore, the character and condition of the site will not change with the extension. The extension with three above-ground floors and one underground floor is designed in the footsteps of the existing kindergarten building. The ground plan is extended on the west and south sides so that the internal program meets the required capacities for new use of the school program.
