Description

Energie Beheer Nederland B.V. (EBN) is 100 procent eigendom van de Nederlandse staat. We voeren gedeeltes van het klimaat- en energiebeleid uit van het ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat.
Tot 2016 richtten we ons hoofdzakelijk op het opsporen, winnen en opslaan van gas en olie. Nu zijn we een van de drijvende krachten achter de energietransitie in Nederland. EBN heeft diepgaande kennis van de Nederlandse ondergrond en vervult een sleutelrol bij het verbinden van private en publieke partijen in de energiesector. Samenwerking is van groot belang om de klimaatambities waar te maken.
EBN is als non-operating partner betrokken bij nagenoeg alle olie- en gasprojecten in Nederland. Ons belang in deze activiteiten varieert van 40 procent tot 50 procent. De opbrengst hiervan komt ten goede aan de schatkist en dus aan de Nederlandse samenleving.
