The Metropolis of Greater Nancy manages and monitors a park of 65,000 drinking water meters as well as the billing of water and sanitation. Since January 1, 2020, the Metropolis has deployed a mobile radio metering solution (drive-by) on its territory by equipping its garbage collection trucks with hardened receiver boxes capable of collecting the radio data emitted by the meters along the way and sending them to a dedicated server.
