Description

Pilot contract which will enable the Trust (UHP) to review the potential and benefits of a hot (i.e. emergency and urgent) / cold (i.e. elective) split for orthopaedic services. Provider to provide infrastructure, staffing, equipment and support services to assist UHP in delivering adult elective orthopaedic procedures at an alternative location to Derriford Hospital. Patient volumes of core UHP activity that will be delivered under the contract are expected to be between 1 800 and 2 500 procedures annually.
