Description

The purpose of this tender is the contracting of insurance policies to cover the following risks for the University of Barcelona and the entities of the UB Group and will comply with the conditions and characteristics detailed in the technical specifications: • Lot 1 Any risk of material damage • Lot 2 General and patrimonial civil liability • Lot 3 Nuclear civil liability • Lot 4 Travel assistance and mobility for the university community • Lot 5 Collective accidents of the Sports Service for the university community • Lot 6 Collective accidents for the university community This specification regulates the conditions, procedure and form of award of the contract. The contract, which is private in nature, is signed with the University of Barcelona as the policyholder of the insurance policies, as regards lots 1, 2, 3 and 5 although part of the coverage will also be provided to the following foundations and entities of the UB Group: • Fundación Bosch y Gimpera • Fundación Parque Científico de Barcelona • Fundación Instituto de Formación Continua (IL3) • Fundación Josep Finestres • Fundación Colegios Mayores UB • Fundación Solidaridad • Fundación Universitaria Agustí Pedro i Pons • Fundación Guasch Coranty • Fundación Montcelimar • Innovative and scientific culture UB • Fundación Privada R. Amigó Cuyàs In terms of lots 4 and 6, the policies are signed individually by the interested members of the university community. The insured entities for each of the lots and the coverages proposed remain included in section D and the Technical Specifications.
