Description

The Industry Community for the Working Environment in Construction (BFA Construction) has been awarded an additional grant for activities close to the workplace. DKK 11,850,000 is used to establish a special consultancy service to support companies and construction sites in improving the working environment. Purpose of the Consultancy Service: • To prevent physical and mental attrition and accidents at work in the construction industry, including service work, by supporting health and safety efforts in companies and on construction sites. Support for health and safety efforts must primarily be done through visits to companies and construction sites (called 1:1 guidance). Here, companies and construction sites must be guided in the solution of specific problems and more general lifting of health and safety efforts. The focus of the visits will be on motivating companies and construction sites to prevent future health and safety problems. Support for health and safety efforts must also include events in the form of meetings, workshops, etc., in which several companies and construction sites participate (called 1:more guidance). The aim is to spread health and safety solutions in the industry. The consultancy service is expected to run from 1 August 2025 to 31 December 2027, provided that the BFA Construction receives the necessary derogation to use the funds during this period. It is also a prerequisite that the Danish Working Environment Authority approves that the funds are used for this special consultancy service.
