Description

The object of the procurement is the emptying and washing of multi-compartment containers in the demarcated areas of the municipalities of Eastern and Western Uusimaa. The object of the procurement will be put out to tender as a single contract entity in the Uusimaa region (including both the eastern and western Uusimaa regions). The tendered contract is part of the contracting entity's wider collection and transport of municipal waste from Western and Eastern Uusimaa. The procurement package has been divided into several separate contracts and further appropriately into contract areas of different sizes, taking into account cost-effectiveness, logistical efficiency and the contractors' equipment readiness. These separate contracts are put out to tender on the basis of continuous tendering as multi-year contracts, bringing several of these separate contracts into tendering every year. The contract includes, at the unit prices specified in the tender, the emptying of the collection equipment for all properties that are and will be customers' customers and properties that will be customers' customers to the collection vehicle and the transport of waste to the Domargård waste treatment centre in Porvoo or to the Munkas waste treatment centre in Lohja. The contract includes washing the waste bins.
