L’appalto ha per oggetto la pulizia delle acque superficiali marine costiere della regione Calabria. Il servizio di pulizia a mare deve assicurare l’individuazione di rifiuti solidi e liquidi, la raccolta meccanica dei rifiuti solidi galleggianti ed il loro stivaggio a bordo, in appositi contenitori; la raccolta di idrocarburi, oli e grassi; il recupero di mucillagini generalmente costituite da sostanze grasse e schiumose che si presentano senza fenomeni di preavviso lungo le acque marine superficiali, la predisposizione di idoneo stoccaggio provvisorio e smaltimento di tutti i rifiuti raccolti presso discarica autorizzata.
